Book Your Transfer Call UsThe Transfer That Runs on Your Schedule
Eight kilometers separate Port Saint Laurent du Var from Nice Côte d'Azur Airport. On paper, it is nothing. On a morning when you have a flight to catch, luggage to manage, and possibly guests relying on you, those eight kilometers deserve a driver who is already there before you start worrying.
TranspOnyx serves the port and marina area of Saint Laurent du Var on a daily basis. Yacht arrivals, cruise disembarkations, hotel pickups close to the waterfront - the logistics are familiar ground. The driver knows the access points, handles the waiting, and manages your bags without instruction. You focus on the departure.
The route itself is straightforward - a short run along the Var valley road or the motorway, depending on traffic - but what makes the difference is not the road. It is the absence of uncertainty. No metered taxi that calculates by the minute, no shared shuttle that makes two other stops before yours, no app that surges the price on a busy summer morning. The rate is set, the driver is dedicated to your party, and the timetable bends to your flight, not the other way around.
This transfer works equally well in both directions. Coming in from a long-haul flight, having a professional meet you at the terminal with a name board and take you straight to the Van is a different start to your stay on the Riviera. Leaving from the port after a few days on the water, the same standard applies. Clean vehicle, driver in formal attire, no conversation unless you want it.

From the Port to the Terminal, Without the Gray Areas
The service is private by design, not by accident. From the moment the booking is confirmed, a single driver is assigned to your transfer - not a dispatch queue, not a platform algorithm.
Port pickup
Your driver arrives at the agreed time with a name board at the designated meeting point in the port. For marina pickups, the team coordinates access in advance. The 20-minute complimentary waiting allowance covers any delay at the gangway or at passport control - and if something unexpected happens on board, a quick message via WhatsApp is all it takes to adjust.
The vehicle
The full fleet is Mercedes-Benz, maintained to a consistent standard regardless of which vehicle category you choose. The Van 7 pax and Van 8 pax are particularly well suited to the port context - generous boot space for larger bags, yacht luggage, or travel cases that have been through a week at sea. Climate control, leather seating, complimentary water on board.
Payment and confirmation
Bookings are confirmed by email or WhatsApp message within a few hours of the request. Payment can be settled in cash on the day, via a secure card link sent in advance, or with a 20% deposit to lock in the booking. A full invoice is available on request for corporate accounts and travel agency clients.
Airport drop-off
The driver drops you directly at the correct terminal for your flight - Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 at Nice NCE. If your booking covers both terminals in the same trip, a small supplement of 10 € applies. For most standard transfers, one terminal is the destination and that is the end of it - bags out, handshake, done.
A Port Town With Serious Maritime Traffic
Saint Laurent du Var sits on the western bank of the Var river, directly across from the airport. Port Saint Laurent - officially Port Saint-Laurent-du-Var, sometimes called Port Carolina or Cap 3000 marina - handles a consistent volume of pleasure craft, charter yachts, and coastal traffic throughout the year. In summer, the marina fills with superyachts working the Riviera circuit between Cannes, Antibes, Nice, and Monaco.
The proximity to the airport is a practical advantage that many first-time visitors underestimate. Saint Laurent du Var is one of the closest inhabited areas to Nice NCE - closer than much of Nice itself. In normal traffic, 15 minutes door-to-terminal is realistic. In peak season, allow 30. Either way, the transfer does not require an early-morning departure that disrupts the rest of the schedule.
For guests staying at the hotels close to the port, or at the Cap 3000 shopping and hotel cluster, TranspOnyx covers all pickup addresses in the commune - not just the marina gates. The same rates apply.
